Baby Candy Corn- Crochet Pattern

There are two types of people: people who love candy corn and those who hate it. I’m personally on Team Anti-Candy Corn, but I can’t deny these chibi candy corns turned out super cute!

It’s a quick pattern that’ll only take you about 30 minutes to make. Have fun and happy Fall!

Baby Candy Corn

Materials

  • Red Heart Super Saver Yarn- Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, and White, Black
  • Fiber Fill
  • Tapestry Needle
  • F Hook (3.75mm)
  • 6mm Safety Eyes

Guide

  • SC- Single Stitch
  • INC- Increase (2 SC in same stitch)
  • DEC- Decrease

Row 1: Start with white, create a magic ring with 3SC (3)
Row 2: INC, 2 (4)
Row 3: INC, 3 (5)
Row 4: INC, 4 (6)
Row 5: INC, 5 (7)
Row 6: 7SC
Fasten off white with a SLST, switch to orange.

Row 7: INC, 6 (8)
Row8: INC, 3, INC, 3 (10)
Row 9: INC, 4, INC, 4 (12)
Row 10: INC, 5, INC, 5 (14)
Row 11: INC, 6, INC, 6 (16)
Fasten off orange with SLST, switch to yellow.

Before continuing, place the safety eyes in between rows 8 and 9. Make sure the eyes are two stitches apart.
For the mouth, place it one row below the eyes. Split the black strand of yarn into a 2 ply strand.

Row 12-14: 16SC around.
Start stuffing the candy corn.
Row 15: {2, DEC} x 4 (12)
Row 16: DEC around (6)

Finish stuffing the inside of the candy corn. Fasten off and seal the bottom by sewing through the front loop of the six stitches and pulling through.
